Guests: Dr Denis Tull is a senior associate of SWP’s Africa and Middle East division. His research focuses on civil wars, security policy and the political systems of the Sahel, with a particular emphasis on Mali.

Lisa Tschörner is an associate of SWP’s Africa and Middle East division. She researches conflict, peacebuilding and political systems in sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on Niger.
